1 pound ground hot Italian pork sausage
2 cans (8 oz each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce
1 can (14.5 oz each) Hunt’s® Petite Diced Tomatoes with Garlic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, undrained
1 cup water
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1/2 cup fresh basil, torn
2 pkgs (16 oz each) potato gnocchi
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Heat a 5-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned and crumbled, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, water, Italian seasoning, brown sugar and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir cream and basil into tomato sauce and heat until warm.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook gnocchi according to package directions. As gnocchi float to the top, use a slotted spoon to transfer them into the sauce. Stir in half of the cheese. Transfer to serving bowl and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
